Deploying Skype Room Systems? Beware SHA1 Certificates

Recently we had a client approach us advising they were no longer able to sign into their Skype Room System v2 devices. After a bit of investigation, it appeared the issue first started occurring after a Cumulative Update (Dec 2017) was applied to their Skype for Business on-premises environment. Testing sign in from an SRS unit of our own to their Skype for Business on-premises environment yielded the same result.

Insync becomes one of Australia’s newest FastTrack Ready (FRP) Partners

Insync Technology is pleased to confirm it has been onboarded into the Microsoft FastTrack Ready Program.

The FastTrack Ready Program allows Insync to provide customised onboarding experiences for its customers looking to embrace a modern workplace. Insync was nominated by Microsoft field staff as having a comprehensive approach to transformation for its customers, including deep experience in teamwork, security and voice. Insync has been able to build FastTrack Ready processes into its standardised operating model, ensuring a smooth onboarding procedure for new and old Microsoft cloud customers.

After acceptance into the program, Insync onboarded over 50 customers into the FastTrack Ready process, with tailored success plans that address both technical and adoption streams, giving the customer the confidence that a workplace transformation can be deftly handled by its relevant teams, working collaboratively to achieve the best business outcome.

Speaking about the program, General Manager of Insync, Nathan Belling said “We’re pleased to be able to take our Modern Workplace business to the next level with the team at FastTrack. As enthusiastic partners of Microsoft, having access to these kinds of programs gets more rapid and better results for our customers and our staff due to direct engagement with Microsoft engineering and subject matter experts.”

Insync plans to continue its focus on Teamwork, Security and Voice, whilst utilising the FastTrack Ready processes and procedures embedded into its own. Insync will also leverage the FastTrack Engineering connections to unblock customer issues more rapidly, ensuring faster onboarding and ultimately a more successful technical implementation.

Insync has also added more specific change management and adoption resources to work side-by-side with our technical teams to assist customers embrace Microsoft 365 and new ways of working. The team aims to help customers “Work Better” with a focus on using the Microsoft 365 platform as a way to achieve business transformation.

Insync looks forward to a successful FY20 with the Microsoft field sales and FastTrack Ready teams to deliver on the promise to empower every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more.

We’re almost at the end of Microsoft Ignite for another year, and this year has not failed to disappoint. Microsoft Teams has been front and centre, lots of announcements and a wide array of brand new Teams native endpoints including Bluetooth devices, phones, and the next generation of Skype Room Systems (name change perhaps?).
